Ramón Luis Ayala Rodriguez better known as Daddy
Yankee. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on February 3, 1977, he became
interested in music at age eleven and began to sing songs inspired in dancehall
and hip hop gender, now a singer, actor, film producer, and entrepreneur Puerto rican. concider is the King of Reggaeton and one of the most respected and
influential artists of the gender.
His greatest achievement was popularizing
reggaeton in Latin America, Spain and several countries in non-Spanish speaking
his Neighborhood Fine album that came out in 2004, was listed as the album of the
decade.
He has won several awards, among which are
eleven awards Billboard Latin Music in the categories of Artist and Latin Album
of the Year in 2005, reggaeton album and song of the year. He was also winner
of two MTV Video Music Awards Latin America in 2006.
